Production notes:
Pre-Broadway tryouts were in New Haven, Connecticut at The Shubert Theater from March 7-12, 1949 and subsequently in Boston. Opened on Broadway April 7, 1949, at the Majestic Theater and moved to the Broadway Theater in June, 1953. It played 1,925 performances, closing January 16, 1954.
